Jewel arrived at Birch Hill Farm at 6 months of age.  She is a dwarf miniature horse.  She was given to the sanctuary by a breeder who didn't want to put her down due to her inability to walk correctly.   She was very lame when she arrived and had some other medical issues.  Within weeks she was feeling better and running around the pasture.   She is definitely a crowd pleaser and very sweet.   You won't believe her size until you meet her in person!
